Host a Small Group at Believe LA
Interested in hosting a Small Group this upcoming semester? Our next Group Semester launches the week of February 8 and runs for 10 weeks. If you’re a member of Believe LA, you’re eligible to host—and hosting is designed to be an easy lift.
Group hosts aren’t responsible for teaching. Your role is simply to create a welcoming space where people can connect, share, and experience community together.
Types of Groups You Can Host
- Curriculum-Based Groups
- Lifestyle or Interest-Based Groups
Curriculum-Based Group Options
Hosts may choose to:
- Use weekly Sunday sermon recaps, including a YouTube recap and discussion prompts provided by Pastor Aaron
- Or select a study or book from one of our approved authors, including: A.W. Tozer, Tim Keller, Dr. Tony Evans, John Maxwell, Rick Warren, Max Lucado, Henry & Richard Blackaby, Rich Villodas, John Bevere, Priscilla Shirer, Joyce Meyer, Lisa Bevere, Beth Moore, and Lisa Terkeurst
Group Host Interest Sessions
Interest sessions will be held after each Sunday service in January in the sanctuary.
Group Host Training (Required)
All hosts are required to attend one training session. Training options include:
- Thursdays: January 15, 22, or 29 at 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: January 17 or 31 at 11:00 AM
- Sunday: January 25 at 1:45 PM (after the third service)

If you don’t have a co-host yet, simply indicate “no” on the form. Once you’re paired with a co-host, they can complete the form separately.
Meeting Locations
Groups may meet in person or virtually. In-person groups can gather in homes or public spaces such as coffee shops or parks.
Support for Every Host
Each group is supported by a HUB Leader who is available to pray with you, provide guidance, and help navigate any challenges throughout the semester.
If you’ve been considering hosting, this is a great season to step in and help create meaningful community at Believe LA.
